Model number vs. serial number

The model number identifies the ICP product family and configuration. The serial number distinguishes the individual unit and is the value SerialAtlas uses for a manufacture-date estimate.

How the ICP serial date example is read

The documented-style example E142320733 uses the common ICP plant/year/week layout: E is the plant character, 14 is the two-digit year, and 23 is the production week.

That pattern is a rule-family example, not a promise that every ICP-family or imported product uses the same positions. If the full label does not fit, leave the result unconfirmed and use the official support path.
